First Time Homebuyer classes!!
Are you interested in buying a home but don’t know where to start?
This is a great place to start!
This class aims to give you a general road map to get you into your home!
Each person is on their unique journey to homeownership. No two people have the same journey, though there are general steps that everyone takes to get there. Everyone begins and ends in different places, and there are many down payment assistance programs to help you achieve homeownership!
In this class, we talk about what is required to be pre-approved for a mortgage,
how the general process goes and
down payment assistance programs of up to $90,000!!
If you feel that homeownership is out of reach, this is a great place for you to start!
(This is not to be confused with the Home Stretch Program, which is required by most down payment assistance programs. That is an 8-hour class that you will generally have to pay for. This class is only 1.5 hours and is free. Sandwiches and refreshments are provided.)
When: Wednesday, August 20, 6-7:30 pm

Wednesday, November 19, 6-7:30 pm

Perennial Exchange
Have your perennials taken over your yard? Do you wish you had a greater variety of perennials? Me too! Let’s exchange! You don’t need to contribute to be able to take some.
This all started several years when one of my neighbors gave me a bag full of irises. I planted them and every year they multiply. I would love to share my irises with anyone that wants them. I know that other people must also have perennials that they would like to share.
I love talking with other gardeners and swapping plants. Having a beautiful yard should not be expensive!

Perennial Exchange
This started a few years ago when one of my neighbors gave me a bag of irises. I planted them, then replanted them and so on. Now I have so many I don’t know what to do with them all. I would like to spread the love of perennials. Perhaps you too have some plants that you would like to contribute? Feel free to come and take whatever you like. Whatever doesn’t go on that day I will set out so people can come by over the following week and take what they like.
The event will take place at 1411 Knox Ave N Minneapolis in the front yard
